The sea breeze from the beach of A Rapadoira will awaken your appetite, and the culinary variety of our hotel Oca Playa de Foz will provide your palates with the possibility of enjoying A Mariña. Our gastronomic offer is based on local products, with the region's own designation of origin and the optimum quality offered by the coast and the pastures that surround us.

We put at your disposal our roof terrace with views of the Cantabrian Sea and our lounges and gastronomic spaces, so that you can awaken the senses and discover the flavors in the restaurant Mare, a project by Carlos J. González.

View and taste of the Cantabrian Sea

 

Mare is a proposal looking at the Cantabrian Sea, just as the views of the restaurant are oriented and gathering its flavors. It is committed to recovering the traditional flavors of the cuisine of A Mariña Lugo through contemporary cuisine based on local and seasonal products.

This new space is a project by Carlos J. González Sánchez, who in his own words opens a window to an enormous gastronomic culture. Carlos is the owner of the Merenzao restaurant, located in Sober, in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, and another in Vigo, Monfortino Gastro Piano Bar.

Margarida Bessa Rego will be in charge of directing the gastronomic proposal. Atlantic-inspired cook, born in Caminha, trained in Economics and later at the Oporto School of Hospitality and Tourism, bases her cuisine on seafood, seasonal and local products. The room team will be led by Samantha Santomé.
