• Obradoiro square. It is located opposite to the main entrance of the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, you will be able to see the statue of Santiago Apostle, on his famous white horse.
• Santiago de Compostela's Cathedral. It is the essence and finish line of the Camino de Santiago, the Cathedral is the main attraction of the city. It is a mandatory visit for tourists as well as for pilgrims. Inside the Cathedral you should see the famous Portico of Glory and the exhibition of the "botafumeiro" swinging from side to side of the transept.
• Pazo de Xelmírez. It is an important building for the civil architecture of the the city, attached to the Santigo Cathedral and built during the 12th century.
• Hostal dos Reis Católicos. It was built after the Catholic Monarchs visited the city in 1486 to accommodate and attend the pilgrims that ended their Way. Nowadays, the Catholic Monarchs’ Hostel functions as a hotel.
• Pazo de Raxoi. It is a building located opposite to the Catedral, it was built in the 13th century and, nowadays, there operates the Santiago de Compostela City Council.
• La Quintana square. It is located in the rear frontage of the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and you can get there through the Holy Door.
• Praterías square. It is located in a side of the Cathedral. The baroque Fountain of the Horses stands out in the center of the square.
• Alameda park. It is located to the south of the city and it is an ideal place to walk around and get a panoramic view of the city in which the grand frontage of the Cathedral stands out.
